AI Automation Audit

You've seen your score. Now get the plan.

A paid, fixed-scope diagnostic that turns "we should automate something" into a build-ready roadmap you own: a readiness heatmap, a prioritized fix list, and a full blueprint for your highest-value workflow. The $1,500 fee credits toward your build if you move forward.

$1,500 fixed · 1-hour live readout · written blueprint you keep

01 The problem

You're serious about automating. You're just not sure where to start.

You've outgrown DIY

You've run the scorecards and tried a few tools. You know the manual work is real. Guessing isn't a plan.

You don't know what's first

Which workflow to automate first, whether your stack and data are ready, and what the real ROI is. All still open questions.

A build feels like a leap

Committing $10K–$20K to a Sprint sight-unseen is a lot of faith. You want a diagnosis before a build.

The Audit turns the score into a build-ready roadmap, built on your real data, not a self-report.

02 What the Audit is

A diagnosis, not a sales call, and not a build.

The AI Automation Audit is a paid, fixed-scope, do-with-you diagnostic that ends in a build-ready plan you own, whether or not you hire us to build it.

Where a free scorecard gives you a directional, self-serve read, the Audit gives you a real diagnosis on your actual workflows, stack, and security. Where a Sprint builds the automation, the Audit tells you exactly what to build first and what it's worth. It's the rung in between.

We review the same five dimensions the free scorecards cover, done by an expert on your real data instead of self-reported.

Manual-work cost

A real workflow inventory: which repetitive workflows exist, their volume, the time they take, who runs them, and the annual dollar cost.

Automation readiness

How API-friendly your stack is, whether your data is accessible and clean, how well processes are documented, and your team's appetite for change.

Security & governance

Data sensitivity, compliance obligations, and access controls: what can safely be handed to an agent, and how. This is the lens from a founder who ran security for finance and payments companies.

First-workflow fit

Which candidate workflows score best on impact, feasibility, low risk, and speed to value.

Build vs. buy vs. partner

For the top opportunities, the honest path to get there: build it, buy off the shelf, or partner.

03 What you get

Five concrete deliverables. All yours to keep.

Deliverable 01

Readiness heatmap

An at-a-glance map across all five dimensions, showing exactly where you're strong and where the holes are.

Deliverable 02

Prioritized gaps & fixes

What to fix first, before automating anything: data cleanup, missing API access, undocumented processes, permission gaps, unclear ownership, sequenced as foundations vs. quick wins.

Deliverable 03

Automation roadmap

Your candidate workflows ranked on an impact-vs-effort matrix, in the order to tackle them.

Deliverable 04

Build-ready blueprint for workflow #1

Your highest-value workflow, specified end to end: trigger, steps, systems and data flow, a guardrails plan (scoped access, audit logging, human-in-the-loop checkpoints), success metrics, ROI math, and what a Sprint to build it would cost and take.

Deliverable 05

A clear next step

The specific first automation to build, and exactly what the Sprint to build it looks like. No ambiguity about what happens next.

04 How it works

From intake to a build-ready plan.

  1. Step 1 01

    Short intake

    • A focused questionnaire on your stack, workflows, and volume.
    • About 15 minutes of your time.
  2. Step 2 02

    We analyze

    • An expert reviews your real workflows, data, and security posture.
    • Not a self-serve quiz. A diagnosis.
  3. Step 3 03

    Live readout + written blueprint

    • A one-hour call walking through the findings.
    • The full report and blueprint handed over, yours to keep.
  4. Step 4 04

    Optional: roll into a Sprint

    • If you move forward within 30 days, the full fee is credited.
    • Or take the plan and build it yourself. It's yours either way.

The de-risk

The full $1,500 credits toward your Sprint.

If you move forward with an AI Automation Sprint within 30 days of your audit, the entire $1,500 fee is credited toward it. You're not paying for a pitch. You're making a down payment on the plan.

And if you don't proceed, you still keep the whole plan. The Audit stands on its own.

07 Fit check

Is the Audit right for you?

It's a strong fit if you…

  • Run a SaaS, subscription, agency, or services business at $2M–$15M ARR
  • Have real support or ops volume: 50+ inbound leads/month OR 100+ support tickets/week
  • Use modern tools like Slack, HubSpot, Intercom, Zendesk, and Notion
  • Have outgrown DIY and want an expert plan before committing to a build

It's probably not for you if…

  • You're pre-$2M ARR, or don't yet have the volume to justify a build
  • You're shopping for a $500 chatbot plugin
  • You need enterprise procurement or SOC 2 Type II / HIPAA on day one

Every agent we build ships with scoped access, audit logging, and human-in-the-loop controls, engineered by a founder who ran security for finance and payments companies. The Audit applies that same discipline to your plan before a line of it is built.

10 Questions

Common questions

How is this different from the free scorecards?

The scorecards are a fast, self-serve read: you answer, you get a score. The Audit is an expert diagnosis on your real data: your actual workflows, stack, and security, reviewed by a person, ending in a build-ready plan. The scorecard tells you roughly where you stand; the Audit tells you exactly what to build first and what it's worth.

How does the credit work?

The full $1,500 fee is credited toward an AI Automation Sprint if you proceed within 30 days of your audit. You're not paying for a pitch. You're making a down payment on the plan.

What if I don't move forward to a Sprint?

You keep everything: the heatmap, the gaps-and-fixes list, the roadmap, and the build-ready blueprint for your #1 workflow. The plan is yours to execute however you like: with us, with your own team, or with anyone else.

How long does it take?

Typically delivered within about a week of your intake, ending with the live readout call and the written report.

Is my data safe?

Yes. The Audit is run by a founder who ran security for finance and payments companies. We look at how your data is accessed and controlled precisely because that's the lens that decides what can safely be automated. Confidentiality is the starting point, not an afterthought.

Who is this not for?

Teams under about $2M ARR without the volume to justify a build, anyone shopping for a $500 chatbot, and organizations that need enterprise procurement or SOC 2 Type II / HIPAA in place on day one. Qualifying out honestly is part of the point.
