About SimplyCubed

SimplyCubed is an AI automation business. We deliver custom AI agents trained on a customer's own data and wired into the tools they already run, live in 2 to 5 weeks rather than the six months and $50K+ an enterprise build demands. Our agents take over real, repetitive work across sales, support, and operations: qualifying leads, resolving tickets end to end, and moving data between systems like Slack, HubSpot, Intercom, Zendesk, and Notion. Every agent ships with scoped access, audit logging, and human-in-the-loop controls, a discipline that comes from our founder's background running security for finance and payments companies.

We run a productized model: a repeatable offering delivered the same disciplined way every time, not bespoke project work. We operate as a fully remote, global team of people, specialists, and agents. We value quality over volume, systems that improve themselves over time, and the kind of methodical thinking that catches a problem before it reaches a customer.

The role

We build our own audience and demand the same way we tell customers to run their work: by turning one expert's raw material into a steady stream of content. This role produces that content, the posts, carousels, and clips, from the raw material our subject-matter expert records. The content is surround-sound: its job is to make the founder's warm intros warmer and inbound possible, not to replace them. It earns the right to more intros; it does not stand in for them.

You will take a single recording or a rough set of notes and turn it into many finished pieces across formats. Early on the expert on camera is the founder, and the engine starts at its lowest-cost expression: a talking-head clip becomes posts and carousels. Your job is to make that material land, on voice and on point, at a cadence that never goes quiet.

Work with us at the commitment that fits you, full-time, part-time, or per engagement, always as an independent partner and always fully remote.

What you'll do

  • Turn the subject-matter expert's raw material, recorded talks, voice notes, and rough thoughts, into finished posts, carousels, and short clips
  • Run the extract-once, multiply-many loop: take one recording and cut it into many pieces of content across formats and channels
  • Work to a structured content plan across a few clear themes, so the raw material lands as a designed stream rather than scattered posts, published on a steady, reliable cadence that never goes quiet
  • Be clear on what each piece is meant to do before it ships, so every post is intentional rather than posted at random
  • Read the signals the Growth Marketer surfaces on what is landing, and feed the winners back into the extract-once, multiply-many loop: make more of what works, drop what does not
  • Write one clear ask per piece, usually the scorecard or a reply, so every piece gives the reader a clear next step
  • Write in the company's voice and point of view, plain, clear, and human, never generic marketing filler
  • Start at the lowest-cost format and grow toward richer ones over time, so a founder talking-head clip becomes a week of posts before it ever becomes polished video
  • Keep a backlog of ready-to-publish content full, so the channels always have something strong to run
  • Take feedback quickly and hold a consistent look and voice across everything you produce

Who you are

You are a content generalist who can turn one person's thinking into a lot of good output:

  • A versatile producer across formats. You move comfortably between written posts, carousels, and short clips, and you pick the right format for the idea.
  • A writer with a visual sense. You can carry a point of view in words and make it look right, without needing a separate designer for every piece.
  • Fast, and comfortable with volume. You would rather ship a steady stream of solid content than polish one piece for a week.
  • Growing toward video. Video is where this grows, not where it starts. You are curious about it and happy to grow into it, but you do not need to be a video specialist on day one.
  • Reads your own numbers. You treat real engagement as the signal that a piece landed, and you let the data pick which formats and hooks you make more of, rather than which ones simply felt good.
  • Comfortable with AI, with a human bar. You use AI tools to produce more and faster, and you have the judgment to keep the result on voice and human, never generic. You are genuinely interested in AI automation, which is what we build.
  • Based in or near Tokyo. This role is remote, but the founder and our events are in Japan, so you need to be close enough to capture in-person video and real content on the ground when the work calls for it.

Nice to have

Direct experience with video editing, short-form clip production, or building a personal brand for someone else is a plus but not required. The generalist foundation, writing well and producing at a reliable cadence, matters more, and the richer formats are learnable as the engine grows. If you have them already, even better.

There is a defined growth path from this role toward Channel Operator and, beyond it, Growth Marketer for people who want to move from producing the content to distributing and measuring it.

How we work

  • Remote and asynchronous-friendly, with this role based in or near Tokyo to capture in-person video and event content
  • Direct collaboration with the founder, with real autonomy once direction is set
  • Independent partners, not payroll staff, with the same investment in everyone
  • Quality over count: a steady stream of solid, on-voice content beats a pile of scattered one-offs
  • Clear documentation and SOPs as a core deliverable, not an afterthought

Where this role sits

This is one tier of a capability ladder that runs from producing content up to owning pipeline as an outcome across the whole engine. We meet you at the tier that fits you now and grow with you as the work and your capability line up.

  1. Content Producer You are here Turn the expert's raw material into finished posts, carousels, and clips.
  2. Channel Operator Distribute and run the channels day to day, on a reliable cadence.
  3. Growth Marketer Design and own the growth system and its measurement, not the prose.
  4. Demand Engine Owner Own pipeline as an outcome, the whole engine end to end.

Per-outcome pay

SimplyCubed never pays by the hour. You are paid per outcome, for the delivered result that meets its acceptance criteria, so how fast you work is your upside, not ours.

A finished post pays $20 to $40, and a carousel or clip pays $40 to $75. We hand you the raw expert material, so you shape and finish it rather than source it. String a few together in a focused session and the session pays for itself.

To apply

Tell us about a piece of content you made from someone else's raw material: what you started with, how you turned it into something that landed, and how much you got out of it. We care more about how you think than about a polished résumé.
